Sometimes you don’t feel strong enough to face your problems. Some days the best you can do is exist. And that’s okay. It’s okay to just be for now.
It’s not over yet. There’s still a new page to be turned. A new chapter to be written. A new story to be told.

Your feelings are your feelings, and any that exist are there for a reason. Try not to sweep your own thoughts under the carpet, for this leaves both your thoughts as well as the external circumstances un dealt with. Allow yourself to sleep, rest, and nourish your body when you are sick. Don’t push yourself to be productive when all you need is rest. You won’t be able to do things in the long run if you keep pushing your body when it needs a break. Don’t let yourself burnout. You deserve to rest. You deserve to recover. Take care of yourself when you are sick. You deserve it, not matter how much you’ve been productive lately. You don’t have to earn rest measured by how much you have worked, recharging your body is not something you have to deserve, this is not a trade-off. This is about your needs, and how you should prioritize yourself.

You are going to laugh until your stomach hurts again. You’re going to be in awe of a sunset. Watch your favorite show while you eat your favorite food. Find money on the street. Discover a great band you haven’t heard of before. You will find your way back.
